Finally the long awaited continuation of my Bizarre Adventure though the new anime adaptation of JoJo Part 5! The episode I watched was a 30 minute TV spot, which is actually about 24 minutes of content (due to commercials). So much has happened since I last posted about this series, so I'll do the best I can to recap! After obtaining the money necessary to become a respectable part of the mafia, Giorno and his group received an important mission from their boss (who no one had seen before) to escort his daughter, Trish, to him. The team takes the mission with the hopes of finding out more about the boss, who is very corrupt and cruel. The mission was extremely dangerous as a team of assassins attempted to kill the entire group and steal Trish for a ransom. However, the group persevered, and they all survived to deliver Trish safely to the boss. However, in an unexpected twist, the reason the boss asked for the escort of his daughter was to kill her himself! Bruno barely managed to escape with Trish and the team had to decide if they were going to join him in defying the boss. Everyone except one member, Fugo, decides to join Bruno and Giorno on the quest to defeat the boss. Episode 22, the one I watched, directly follows the group's decision to defy the boss, and now they are being attacked by members of the boss' elite guard. In this episode, two guards Squalo and Tiziano (shown in the picture), stealthy attack the group with their unique stands. The episode left on a cliffhanger, which leaves you wondering how Giorno and the group will get out of the situation. The opening and ending changed for this new arc, and I am very excited to see the rest of this exciting part of JoJo!
